Following a review of our domestic insurance portfolio, Calliden will continue to underwrite new home and contents risks with a combined sum insured of up to $1M.

However, effective 14 July 2012, new business over $1M combined sum insured will be arranged by Mansions of Australia, part of the Calliden Group, acting as an agent on behalf of certain syndicates at Lloyd’s.

Further, all existing business with a combined sum insured of $1.5M or more will be contacted 6 weeks prior to the policy’s renewal date and offered an upgrade to the Mansions policy.

Existing business with a combined sum insured of $1.5M or less will continue to be renewed under the Calliden domestic policy.
